Katie Price 'negotiating £1.75m magazine deal'

Katie Price is reportedly negotiating a £1.75 million magazine deal ready for when she and Alex Reid send out wedding invitations.

The couple have allegedly rekindled their romance and now that cagefighter Alex has been crowned winner of Celebrity Big Brother, are set to tie the knot.

A source close to 31-year-old model Katie said: "Big money is being spoken about for wedding coverage and a lot of it is down to Alex doing so well on Big Brother."

If the star, also known as Jordan, receives the fee, it will equal the figure given to her when she married Peter Andre in 2005.

When I heard this news, I couldn't help but wonder if the pair are rushing into their wedding planning and if Katie is using the situation to make more money.  After all, shouldn't a wedding be about the union of two people surrounded by their family and friends, rather than magazine photographers?

These people live their lives in the spotlight and if it were me, I'd want to keep something like my wedding day as special and private as possible.
