Brian McFadden: I'll get married after the World Cup

Brian McFadden claims he will wait until after the World Cup to marry Delta Goodrem.

Brian McFadden may have proposed to his girlfriend Delta Goodrem three years ago, but the couple are taking their time in tying the knot.  Now, he claims that 2010 will be the year they walk down the aisle, but not until the World Cup and Formula 1 sporting events are over.

The former Westlife star, 29, explained that work commitments have prevented the pair from saying "I do".

"We're trying to work out a date between the World Cup and the end of the Formula 1 season," he said.

Luckily for Brian, Delta does not seem to mind as she confessed that she would like to go to the football tournament and is a "huge sports fan".

I doubt some other women would be as accommodating as the former Neighbours star is this situation and she must be very understanding if she doesn't mind coming second to football!  However, I do think that when a couple both have such hectic schedules, finding the time to do all the wedding planning can be tricky.
