Shilpa Shetty 'could hire the House of Commons' for wedding reception

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty could be holding a wedding reception at the House of Commons.  She may have already tied the knot with Raj Kundra in an extravagant ceremony in Mumbai, but it seems that Shilpa Shetty is keen to celebrate her marriage in the UK as well.

Reports claim that the Bollywood star wants to hold a celebration in England and has her sights set on none other than the House of Commons as the wedding venue.

Speaking to the Sunday Mirror, a source said that the actress is "thrilled" about holding her celebration in such an iconic location.

"Shilpa's having a ceremony in India too but the British celebrations are going to be big and they've spent a lot of money organising a grand affair," they said.

I think a beautiful wedding reception can finish off the day perfectly, especially if you really go to town with the decorations.

I know this might not be to everyone's tastes though. While a country house with sprawling gardens may provide a beautiful background for photos, wedding invitations to family's favourite pub or even the mother of the bride's house can still offer a memorable end to the event.

Are you holding your wedding reception at a very grand venue?
