Jessica Simpson: I want to design wedding rings

It has been claimed that divorcee Jessica Simpson wants to design wedding rings for her own jewellery line.

Getting a wedding ring may be an exciting feeling for most people and for me, it's a real symbol of marriage.  Now, it seems as though couples could be wearing bands designed by a famous face when they deliver their wedding speeches, as Jessica Simpson reportedly wants to launch her own jewellery line.

The 29-year-old singer and actress is allegedly in talks with jeweller Pascal Mouawad to create a range of necklaces, earrings and bracelets.  Jessica is also keen for this to include wedding rings, a source tells Fox News, although the expert is not as happy about the idea.

"He wants to work with her, but definitely doesn't think wedding rings would be appropriate for Jessica," the insider said.

This got me thinking about wedding rings and all the different kinds that are available for wedding planning couples to choose from.

Personally, I prefer the simple look. Maybe a plain gold band or one studded with three tiny diamonds. I also think that a single diamond can look special as it sparkles on the bride's finger.
