Welcome one and all to my celebrity wedding blog. For those of you with no interest in famous fashionistas and their pre-nuptial plans, avert your eyes now, otherwise, you've come to the right place. Having worked in the fashion magazine industry for as long as I have and specialising in glamorous celebrity weddings - to which I have attended my fair share - juicy insider scoops are my raison d'etre. Believe me, I have seen some things that may inspire, shock and even terrify you to the very core so consider me your eyes and ears on all things glitzy, glamorous and wedding related.

Which is better for a wedding, summer sun or frosty winter skies?

Strictly Come Dancing star Camilla Dallerup wants a summer wedding, but would you rather tie the knot in an atmospheric winter ceremony?

It has been revealed that Strictly Come Dancing pro Camilla Dallerup is eager to buy a wedding dress and marry Hollyoaks actor Kevin Sacre in a summer wedding.

Speaking to Now magazine, she claimed that although details of the big day are top secret, wedding invitations for a celebration during the warmer months of the year could be sent out.

This got me thinking, which is better, a summer or a winter ceremony?

Tying the knot when the sun is shining and the air is warm means everyone is bound to be happy and smiling as you walk down the aisle. What is more, you will have picture-perfect blue skies for your wedding snaps.

But if you decide to tie the knot in the winter months, you could find that the frosty atmosphere and icy leaves create an entirely different and beautiful atmosphere.

What is more, it is often far cheaper to say "I do" later in the year, as venues and suppliers do not have as many bookings.

Who knows, you might even get the magic of snow on your special day.

So, what do you think? Are winter weddings a good idea, or should you stick to traditional tried-and-tested summer nuptials?
