Welcome one and all to my celebrity wedding blog. For those of you with no interest in famous fashionistas and their pre-nuptial plans, avert your eyes now, otherwise, you've come to the right place. Having worked in the fashion magazine industry for as long as I have and specialising in glamorous celebrity weddings - to which I have attended my fair share - juicy insider scoops are my raison d'etre. Believe me, I have seen some things that may inspire, shock and even terrify you to the very core so consider me your eyes and ears on all things glitzy, glamorous and wedding related.

Choosing the perfect dress before a wedding

How can brides-to-be make sure they look a million dollars when walking down the aisle on their big day?

After seeing the beautiful wedding dress with lace sleeves that Ivanka Trump tied the knot in recently, I started to think a lot about gowns and finding the perfect outfit.

Getting hitched is one of the biggest days of a girl's life and I know I would be distraught if my dress wasn't the one I had always dreamed about.

But how do you find that illusive garment that makes you look great, feel like a princess and hide any wobbly bits at the same time?

Writing for The Frisky, bride-to-be Nina Carbone says that all women should have a clear idea of what they want as "there is nothing worse than a woman who doesn't have opinions about what she wants the dress to look like".

I think she is right. If you take your time browsing through bridalwear designers and bridalwear shops both on and offline you are more likely to find the ideal dress that you never want to take off.

Have you had any wedding dress nightmares or heavenly moments when you fell in love with the perfect outfit for walking down the aisle?
