Famous names on your wedding guest list
Couples who have friends in high places will no doubt be keen to make sure they send their wedding invitations in time to ensnare their A-lister guests - much like former home secretary David Blunkett and his partner Dr Margaret Williams.
The pair were reportedly over the moon when prime minister Gordon Brown and his wife Sarah made it to their nuptials in Sheffield over the weekend and even found time to stay for the reception.
But surely it's wrong for a couple to gauge how successful their wedding is going to be against which guests can or cannot attend.
While the big stars of the ceremony and wedding reception are supposed to be the bride and groom themselves, many newlyweds no doubt revel in the notoriety of having famous faces on their guest list. However, I know I personally wouldn't fancy being upstaged at my own bash by a mere celebrity. I want all eyes to be on me, my other half and my wedding dress of course!
Will you be inviting any well-known faces to your wedding?
