Tying the knot the second time round
Since her quickie divorce from Peter Andre was finalised yesterday, glamour model Katie Price has reportedly started talking about tying the knot with cagefighter boyfriend Alex Reid. According to a source close to the 31-year-old, she is hoping to be married by the end of the year and could start wedding planning for winter nuptials.
When Katie and Peter married back in 2006, she famously wore a rather garish pink princess wedding dress and arrived at the castle setting in a pumpkin carriage, making the entire affair a truly tacky one. However, it is believed that the mum-of-three wants her second wedding to be a tad more sophisticated.
A source told the Daily Star: "She wants her next wedding to be a classy affair. She won't have it tacky, she absolutely won't."
Being the extravagant showgirl that she is, I have no doubt that Katie will want a lavish affair, but most women, who are tying the knot for a second, third or even fourth time feel that they should keep the ceremony and reception relatively low key.
While I personally think that loved ones would be only too happy to celebrate a bride's second wedding, some women might feel guilty for asking friends and family to fork out hundreds of pounds to attend their nuptials yet again and others might hate the thought of accepting more gifts from the same people.
Would you feel guilty sending out a wedding gift list for a second time?
