Securing your dream wedding venue

Anyone who is currently in the throes of wedding planning will know that securing the wedding venue is one of the most important things on the agenda. As such, it should come as no surprise that a lot of thought and preparation has to go into doing so.

Brides and grooms-to-be should consider what kind of wedding they want to have and choose the venue accordingly. Take Hollywood actress Uma Thurman for example. She and her fiance Arpad Busson are planning to say their I dos next year in a fairytale wedding, so what better way to do that than by securing the home of a princess as the location?

Uma has booked Kensington Palace, the former home of Princess Diana, for the nuptials, which will play host to such superstars as Sir Elton John, Claudia Schiffer and Sting. Lucky girl! Clearly such an extravagant wedding should take place in a venue to match.

The star made sure to book the palace well in advance of the big day to avoid disappointment, which makes perfect sense. With so many weddings taking place each year, securing the venue on your date of choice can be tricky. So get in there early to make sure you get exactly what you want.
