Corrie's unlucky Steve and Becky shop for second wedding dress

They say that a groom should never see his bride in her wedding dress before the big day. As tradition would have it, doing so could bring the newlyweds nothing but an unlucky and unloving marriage.

If that is really the case, then Coronation Street's favourite bride and groom-to-be Becky and Steve are sure to be in for a rough ride when they try to tie the knot for the second time this year.

The pair were pictured filming scenes for the soap in a bridal shop in Manchester city centre. Becky was seen perusing the chic gowns dressed in her denim jeans and jacket, dripping in gold jewellery and with her hair in its usual scrunchy, while a gormless Steve watched on.

When the wedding finally takes place on the Street, things could not possibly get any worse than the first time they tried to wed. Remember, Becky dressed in a Jordanesque princess puffball got drunk on her morning champagne and the registrar refused to officiate the marriage?

But, as it is soapland, I am sure there will be some sort of shocker in store this time round.
