Amanda Holden upstages bride at Corrie wedding

Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden loves to be in the spotlight, so it came as no surprise to me that she managed to upstage Coronation Street stars Lucy-Jo Hudson and Alan Halsall at their own wedding this weekend.

The TV personality was running late for the real-life nuptials of the actors, who we know better as Tyrone Dobbs and Katy Harris. In fact, she was so worried that the bride would make it down the aisle before she managed to get to the wedding venue and find her seat that she was forced to run to the church.

Not content with drawing attention to herself by jogging to St Bertoline's in Cheshire, the talent judge also managed to give awaiting photographers an eyeful by almost popping out of her dress.Talk about pre-wedding hiccups!

So much for allowing all eyes to fall on the bride on her special day! Yes, a lot of the focus should be on the groom but it is the wife-to-be and her gorgeous wedding dress that should be the talk of the day - not the guests and their poor punctuality.

There is nothing worse than being late for an event, but tottering into a church in your finest after everyone else is settled and ready for the ceremony is just plain mortifying.

Have you ever embarrassed yourself by showing up late to a wedding?
