Jennifer Bell

Welcome one and all to my celebrity wedding blog. For those of you with no interest in famous fashionistas and their pre-nuptial plans, avert your eyes now, otherwise, you've come to the right place. Having worked in the fashion magazine industry for as long as I have and specialising in glamorous celebrity weddings - to which I have attended my fair share - juicy insider scoops are my raison d'etre. Believe me, I have seen some things that may inspire, shock and even terrify you to the very core so consider me your eyes and ears on all things glitzy, glamorous and wedding related.

Motorsport-themed wedding for diehard fans

Everyone loves a traditional wedding and for some, anything remotely different from the norm is considered a travesty. Well, I have never been one to shun the kooky and cool, so when I heard about the weird and wonderful wedding of Stephanie Garner and fiance Peter Janes, I couldn't help but grin from ear to ear.

Instead of sending wedding invitations out to guests with a usual church address listed, the motorsport-mad pair decided to tie the knot at the Goodwood racing circuit in West Sussex. As if the themed wedding venue was not already enough, they both made their entrance in separate Seat Leon Cupra K1s - their favourite car.

"We're both big motorsport fans, and so being able to have our ceremony at Goodwood was brilliant," said Stephanie.

The bride walked up the aisle to Fleetwood Mac's The Chain, which is the Formula One theme tune on BBC, while her husband-to-be waited at the altar with a chequered flag in hand.

I think this is a truly inspirational story for people who are currently busy wedding planning. They should make decisions based on their likes and dislikes in order to arrange something that feels comfortable and natural.

What crazy wedding venues have you been to?
