No smooth sailing for Gisele's wedding day

A couple's wedding celebration is broadly regarded one of the most special days in their life, so when some brides and grooms say they will do anything to make sure their plans go ahead without a hitch - that pledge should be taken seriously.

If we take into consideration recent news about Gisele Bundchen's Costa Rican wedding to American football star Tom Brady, this sentiment really rings true.

The supermodel was so adamant that nothing would spoil her day that she had the wedding venue swamped with security and bodyguards.

However, some might argue that the Brazilian bombshell went a step too far - at least if recent reports are to be believed.

When members of the paparazzi trespassed on Gisele's property to get a sneaky wedding picture, they claimed they were shot at by security staff wielding guns. 

Now, if it transpires that these allegations are true, I think 28-year-old Gisele may have taken her wedding hitch precautions a tad too far. 

I cannot imagine anything worse than a bloody paparazzo cropping up in the stunning wedding pictures - what could have happened simply does not bear thinking about.

Regardless of the facts, one thing is certain and that is that the beautifully planned wedding of Gisele and Tom has been tainted by a slew of unpleasant news, the stigma of which is not likely to be forgotten any time soon by the couple - and the rest of the world.
