As well as the long list of name changing documentation, I will also need to be put on h2b's house paperwork too as I wont be moving in with him til the day. Then I also have to go to my local Register Office and 'give notice' to get a marriage certificate. And of course as with all important offices that you need to access from time to time (along with Dentist, GPs), they only open during work hours. So that's another half day off work!

Ooh! I also need to start practising my new signature! And I need to order new business cards at work...

Do people usually change their passport name before or after the wedding? If before, how does that work without the certificate??

All booked!!

It's taken over a year but we've finally booked our Church AND the venue with almost 3 months to go!

I went to see the venue with my friend on Saturday and told her not to be overexcited (i wanted to drive a hard bargain as I know how these venues can be once they know you're planning the W word!) and so she remained silent. I on the other hand was gushing all over the place! an hour later and I had driven home to get my card and drive back again to put a deposit down. So much for keeping my cool lol luckily my h2b trusts me implicitly......WOO HOO wedding here we come!!

What to wear???

My new years resolution was to only buy shoes and underwear..so far ive been doing really well but if only Fish had told me he was going to propose! :(

I now have to get all my bridesmaid's dresses - all 6 of them - plus the flower girls - cant decide between 3 of them so having all 3 plus a page boy!

Then I have to think about all my other clothes for various engagement do's, the honeymoon, the reception, the 'going away dress' - to be honest I am skeptical about this; whats the point?!

So think my new year's reso is going to have to go down the pan and Ill have to venture out further than Faith and La Senza....my bank is going to love me :s

Doll's Diary..

Yay, I found my blog page!

I already have a blog at www.christ-couture.blogspot.com but since we got engaged on Valentines weekend this year I have been hooked (or hitched) on this website!

My h2b and I HOPE to marry later this year but everyone keeps telling us we're rushing things and I keep having to explain that no am not pregnant which is rather annoying but we're determined to make it all work so it will!

Currently am trying to calculate when I'll be having my period so that I wont be on on the day! Is this weird? Does anyone else do this??? Fish (my h2b) is not keen on me taking any pills and says if I'm on then so be it..he obviously hasnt thought about what it would be like to have a moody bride... :s

Ok better get back to work now lunch over!

x

Ps - There are so many abbreviations on here that its taken me a while to understand all he discussions going on in the forum; I get h2b but HIB? Maybe I'll compile a dictionary on here for newbies like myself!
