And I can't believe how quick it has come round. I actually think I am in denial!!

I have no idea really what is left to do. I know my dress needs altering and seeing as I am failing big style to lose any weight I might as well get it done sooner rather than later. It also needs taking up quite a bit but I haven't got my shoes yet so can't get that done. Need to decide what I am going to do with my hair?! Got a few ideas but need to practise really. I have gone from not having anyone to do my hair to having a couple of offers so now I need to decide. Having a make-up trial next week.

We are having the best men and usher round on Sunday for a bbq so we can discuss their roles on the day. They also need to decide where they are all staying and getting ready, etc.

It's my son's 5th birthday on the 30th and mine on the 31st. Need to get him some presents tomorrow before he finishes school for half term.

What to do today?!

Well today I was supposed to be going to Essex to see my best friend and her little boy but she has text me to say she's still not feeling great. So we have postponed until next Friday to make sure she's better.

So now I don't know what to do today. I could see if my sister needs any help because I think she is decorating her house. Or I could sit here all day doing nothing. But that's not very productive really.

We did go and deliver some more invitations last night. My OH managed to catch his BIL at home and said we'll arrange a time to go round and talk cakes as he has now said he'll do them for us (he's a baker). But we didn't manage to catch his Nan in. He wanted to speak to her but nevermind. So we only have a few left to deliver. We're going to take one round tomorrow evening to our friends who have a tiny baby so I get a little cuddle with him too!!

Anyway off to ponder the day!!

My OH mentioned the other day that he was going to take the invitations in for the blokes he works with. I told him he wasn't allowed as the families had to have theirs first. He looked totally bewildered. Well I have given my family ones out and posted his parents'. He's just got his sister, etc to do, then we can do our friends!!

As my life is quite mundane I have no news really. I have spent the best part of the weekend clearing up sick that smelt of bbq flavour peperami!! Eurgh But my son seems to be better now although still a bit hot.

I have managed to get all the invitations ready to go. I have included the menu choice cards too. I was trying to think of how to do the envelopes without ruining them with my crappy handwriting but I figured that the envelopes would just get thrown away anyway so not to worry.

I was going to wait until the weekend to hand them out so that we could call in and see people but my Dad is coming round today, as he does every Monday, but he won't be round next Monday because it's Bank Holiday. So I might just give him his today. Then I might call round my Mum's tomorrow before I go to work because tomorrow is my Grandma's birthday and they are going out for dinner. I can't go because of work but my Aunt will be there so they can pass on her invitation too. Just need to time it right so that my Grandma is at my Mum's when I go round. Then Thursday I am going down to see my best friend, who I have asked to be one of our witnesses, so I can hand deliver hers, and leave her Mum's and her sister's there too.

Got a fairly busy weekend ahead for a change. Going for a mammoth shopping trip on Saturday, after convincing my OH that Easter Sunday really isn't a good time to go shopping, and then to Santa Pod raceway on Sunday to see the cars and bikes, etc but most importantly to my son there will be monster trucks!!! Then BH Monday will normally have a wander round the big market in our town and then if it's warm hopefully a bbq!

I'm sitting here unable to move after eating too much chinese!! I'm sure that'll help me fit in my dress?!

We have got our next meeting with our venue on Tuesday and I think we're going to discuss menus (oh no...let's not talk about food) and numbers. I suspect they're going to want some money soon.
