I'm Baron, this time last year I was 23 stone with a BMI pushing 40 and now I'm 14 stone with a BMI of 23. I lost the weight through the revolutionary 'Eat Less, Move More' plan, which meant a strict regime of eating less and moving more. The plan also involved moving more and eating...

I realise mine is probably out of whack from being greedy/ doing SW/ being married to a broadly built 6ft4 man, and I don't have much idea of what a normal sized portion is. I weighed my breakfast cereal, what I'd normally have, and it was 100g. Is this too much? I put some back. I had a couple...

[quote user="whitty1"] I find portion control is the only way I can eat what I want and maintain my weight. I'm not obsessive about it anymore but do check my portion sizes every so often to keep myself on track. It's the main reason slimming world didn't work for me actually as...

Right, I'm going to try ELMM, eating ordinary stuff but controlling the portions sounds good to me. How do I find out what constitute a diet portion though? Ignoring the fact you got my gender wrong .... Take a look at this thread for inspiration: http://www.hitched.co.uk/Chat/forums/t/73942.aspx Can you be more accurate as to what you eat? Tell us everything you ate on Wednesday and Thursday this week and don't leave anything out.

What are you eating? Give us an idea of your daily intake. Losing 4 stone isn't a quick process I'm afraid but with proper eating and a healthy diet, it can be done.

I went on holiday a couple of weeks ago and ate like a madman so including that, just over 9 stone in 10 months. Best thing is though, that I've not beaten myself up over it because I know I can lose it and I'm following a healthier lifestyle. I must admit, I don't think I've found it...
