Songs to leave the wedding ceremony please!

    Hi girls,

I am helping my sister with the final preparations on her wedding day - could you tell me your songs for leaving the wedding ceremony please?

She has Songbird by Eva Cassidy to walk into, another one (I forget!) for signing the register, but is drawing a blank for the leaving song.  She wants something upbeat preferably but I thought you girls would help me with some inspiration for her!

    Thanks!

    Donna

    Hi

I walked into "Somewhere over the Rainbow" Katherine McPhee, Then we had Eva cassidy "Songbird" for signing the register (fav song ever, wanted it for signing the register so we got to hear all of it)  We walked out to "Brown Eyed Girl" which is our song - so maybe not appropriate but It is nice i think to an upbeat song as you said

A friend of mine had 'Heaven' - it's a Bryan Adams song, but she had the most gorgeous piano instrumental version - it was stunningly gorgeous

we're having your love (lifting me higher by Jackie Wilson. It's not conventional but I want everyone to dance out of the room and into the beautiful gardens! (hope its not raining as thats not how it goes in my head haha)

     That was my first dance!

We had Stevie Wonder "for once in my life" for walking out.

I'm having trouble deciding on this too - I want something people will recognise bit I don't want it to be a predictable 'wedding-y' song. I swear I've spent more time worrying about music than almost anything else about the day!

my h2b is quite keen on it - partly because of the opening line...
