  • *** Thu Third TrI ***

    Morning

Hope everyone is well. Is there anyword on Mrs Chef?

Was off work yesterday and had a manic day of furrniture arriving. Lunch, Midwife, Running hubby about and Aquanatal.

Everything is fine with Baby but Midwife said i am 3/5s engaged. She looked really shocked about it and for a second i thought something was wrong. I am 35+3 today. Is it usual to be engaged at this stage. I dont know if you mind but last week after my aquanatal i thought my bump had dropped so i think this is when it happened. I have to try and get baby moving though as at the moment the spine is running down my side and we need it to come round the front!

Lou - are you pleased with the furniture?  Don't forget we require pics.  Fingers crossed your LO will turn in time for when they decide to make an appearance.

AFM, i'm ok, feeling really tired, had hoped the iron tablets would have taken effect by now and maybe eased the tiredness but apparently not.  Also been doing my blood sugars since monday and on the whole they've been spot on, so i can't have GD too bad.  We're off to Disneyland paris in the morning and i can't wait.  It's going to be a cold one but according to the forecast mostly dry so that's good.  Cold i can do, wet and cold isn't so much fun though.

Hope everyone that follows is well Wave

    Hi everyone

I guess I'm only going to be short term on the 3rd tri as I'm booked for a c/s on Monday but thought I would pop in and say Hi to everyone.

Lou - with J I was 3/5 engaged from 32 weeks so don't panic, she was still 11 days later!  Assuming this is your first then it's normal for the head to be engaged early.  However baby2 was still breech at 36 weeks and I don't think s/he has moved although I'm seeing the midwife today so may be proved wrong.

Chids - enjoy Disney, we went for J's 3rd Birthday when I was about 30 weeks pg and had lots of fun.  Make sure that you have lots of rests.  Pg women can't go on most of the rides so it will give you an excuse to sit down with a hot chocolate and warm up!

I had a busy day yesterday as went out to buy lots of last minute bits and stocked up on baby toiletries whilst Sainsburys had their half price offer on so today I'm just chilling out at home, then getting my eyelashes and eyebrows tinted at lunchtime and seeing the midwlfe this afternoon.  J is at my MIL this morning then nursery this afternoon - bliss!

Have a good day everyone.  x

Chids - Ooo you lucky thing, enjoy Disneyland! I hope the tiredness eases for you soon, maybe the fresh air will help?

Noo - Good luck for MOnday - who is your pester person?

    Any news from Mrs Chef?

AFM - Nothing to report. Today is my rest morning and this afternoon I don't know what we will do, probably just mooch around as we have friends here tomorrow. x

I shall be in need of a PP a bit nearer the time, so shall put your down Meggy if that's ok?  Not due until 7th Feb though so a long wait yet.

  • Re: *** Thu Third TrI ***

It so funny you mentioned Noel and Jesus as my work colleagues were just suggesting names and these were two of there favourites!!

  • Re: *** Thu Third TrI ***

I actually like Noel for a wee girl....and Im partial to Jesus too, I tried to convince Mazzy to call her little boy that!! Laugh

Chids.....ooooh would love to be your PP!!!  YAY!

  • Re: *** Thu Third TrI ***

That wasnt bad for a mornings work Meggy. Got yourself a couple of recruites.

We are really struggling with names. We have 0 girls and 3 boys but the more i think about them i find reasons against them. It feels like too much responsibility. I am just hoping when Baby arrives i have one of those Urika moments and think you look like a and it just comes to me!

How is O i just saw on fb she isnt feeling so good. Is it this Sickness bug thats going about? My friends wee one had it last week.
