  Anyone got a BFP without having a regular cycle?

I know of another hitcher who fell pregnant without having a period after coming off the pill and ideally I'd love that because I hate periods!   Contact kind of with L i had regular cycles of 26 days this time round my AF was late in april and vanished for 10 weeks, all bloods normal, then had a 38 day cycle and went for pelvic ultra sound, then was told i had polycystic ovaries.  i then had a 27 day cycle, and went to the gp for more bloods (which again were normal)on the cycle i conceived i had EWCM at CD5 and CD6 (AF only left on CD6) so we just dtd from cd6 and i used opks and recorded my temp.  fertility freind said i ov'd on cd11 due to my temp changes, i never got a positive on an opk.  i just felt the urge to test on cd23 and got a BFP (well i tested on cd21 - 9 DPO and got a very faint line - so faint it could be argued it wasnt there) so in answer to your question i got a bfp without having regular cycles good luck xxc #1 01/09 #2 11/10 #3 due 02/12

  Contact Well I got a BFP 2 cycles in, and they were both regular 28 days - it took 6 weeks for AF to return, followed by 2 cycles then the BFP. However, because I subsequently m/c'd, my cycles were then all over the place for the next 13 months until I got my second (and sticky) BFP. My cycles ranged from 22 to 49 days, though usually fell between 27 and 33 days. I am absolutely convinced that the delay in a second BFP for us was related to stress following the m/c though, and not due to my cycles.

  Contact Not that it wasnt regular but sort of because I had no idea where I was in my cycles. After having my first I didnt have any AF but fell pregnant within 2 months, unfortunately this was an ectopic, I then went another 3 months with no AF and got pregnant first cycle after that with my daughter. After having her I've had 2 cycles which were 7 weeks or so each and then fell pregnant on what would have been a 'normal' 3rd cycle.   Chels* Joined on 17-Jan-2007 United Kingdom Posts 1,459	Contact Yep another sticks hand in the air!     I stopped the pill and it took 3 months for me to ovulate but luckily I noticed the signs so pee’d on an OPK (positive) and 12 days later got my BFP (this was on CD111).    So it can happen! 2008 2011
