My best friend and I were pregnant at the same time..but sadly she miscarried at 5 weeks. I was about 9 weeks at the time. I truely felt for her...and it must have been very hard for her to be around me at the time. We had talked about how fab it was being preggers at the same time and how close our kids would be etc. I felt seeing me was just a constant reminder of her loss. When she fell again a matter of weeks later....we were so elated for her and her partner. This baby would be arriving about 9 or 10 weeks after C was due. She continued to have a healthy pregnancy.
Last week, her waters broke one week early and she failed to go in to labour naturally. She was booked in for an induction but unfortunately the hospital left her too long without her waters and both her and the baby proceeded to get an infection. She had an emergency c section but now her poor baby is really ill and has been in neonatal for a week. He is making progress but there is no question that it has been upsetting for her and her hubby and we don't yet know when he will be out. There are a number of issues such as his liver function, breathing, and stabalising his temperature. The poor little lad xxx Its even harder for her now as she has been discharged from hospital and the baby remains in the neonatal ward.
So if you have any get well vibes out there please send them her way xxx
