We're not really lie there and do nothing beachy people and are thinking of honeymooning in Italy for around 3 weeks/a month if we can wangle it off work!
We plan to fly to Venice, spend a few days there then drive to Florence through the Tuscan countryside and then head down the coast to Amalfi and spend about a week there relaxing.
Has anyone done this and can recommend and also it it soooper-expensive? We dont want all 'honeymoon' hotels and plan to splash out in venice and florence but budget the rest of the time. But we do have our hearts set on a nice italian or convertible car!!
Also i've heard ppl say things close in August - what about September?!
