Awww poor you... it's an awful thing to happen to anyone and at this difficult time too where the job market is very slow. Keep in touch with those colleagues that mean something to you - as friends. I myself have been in your position and its not nice, as it turned out it was for the better as I was unhappy anyway but it was still a shock and I had many work colleagues that were friends. I now realise who those friends were and they still keep in touch now and ask how business is doing. I made around 60 applications and had many rejections which does knock your confidence. Now I'm so happy as I too run my own business alongside my wonderful husband and it is very rewarding and I just get sheer job satisfaction as well as making people happy with their wedding dvds
It helps when you love weddings lol.
I wish you every success with your business - make a go of it - why line someone else's pocket when you have the business there already!! Us small businesses need to stick together and help each other with advice on marketing etc
keep in touch and let us know how you're getting on.
Good luck - you can do it!!!!
