Do they go together?

Some advice please.

Off  to buy FG dress this afternoon for stepdaughter (with my 20% discount voucher thanks to the Daily Mail)

But for my 13yr old daughter wanted something a bit different and was going to order this from china (she has tried on similar style in oriental pearl and it really suits her and doesnt look tarty, it looks cute and fun and funky) These are the colours of the wedding but do you think its alright to have one wearing green and the other wearing brown? I would have got the FG dress in green but only came in brown and it is our favourite of the Debenhams dresses.

I think because they're both earthy tones it will work, you could match the jewellery/flowers to tie it in even more. Pretty dresses!

Ohhh, yeah, thanks. Maybe I could get older BM some brown accessories. If it was just the flower on the FG dress I would cut it off and buy a green one and sew it on, but the band is there and even my sewing skills dont extend that far.

My sewing skills are so poor too, a button is my limit! This may look daft but maybe a sash the same colour as the flower girl dress if it's not too 'busy' for your daughters dress? A few ideas to try out and you never know one may stand out as a winner!

Just read back what I wrote and realised it sounded like a had a mash a colours - not quite what I meant anyway, your right, i will have playa round with it all
