Hi, I have just read the post about taking your wedding dress abroad. Did Thompson GIVE you an extra 20 kgs or did you have to pay for it?

Thanks, We have been told that I can take mine as hand luggage, but now I want to take silk flowers as well, I think I shall have to pay extra for it. We are travelling with First Choice and booked our wedding through the hotel directly. xx

We booked our wedding with a private wedding planner based out in Turkey. All we've got with Thomas cook is the holiday!  Give them a ring and moan and try to blag some free stuff! We bought the extra legroom, priority boarding, lounge and champagne! - Hell it's my wedding, I want a bit of luxury for the flight!

We have up graded our flights as well and we will take your advice and call them and see what we can do. Thanks for your advice xx
