I love it there, while it's nice that you have the waterfront behind the hotel, what really sold me on it was the decor inside the hotel. I am shooting a wedding there in the autumn, and have visited the venue a few times for personal reasons, the food there is gorgeous. The staff there seem to be really welcoming and helpful, which is something we always take notice of. I wasn't bothered about it being very white, or light, the only worry I have with any venue that is chosen for it's lush outdoors verandas and scenery, is the weather. That's the one thing you can't always count on, but like I said, I love the decor inside the hotel, and have already discussed with my couple my plans in case mother nature drips on the day, lol.
Best of luck with the planning, I have my own list of 'preferred suppliers' based on seeing them in action, so if you need any recommendations to check out, let me know. If you guys decide against it, but want to stay in the area, there are a few other options as well.
