Does anyone remember this? Someone posted a link last Christmas to the Empire Stores sale. There was a doll set comprising of doll, pushchair, carry cot, baby walker, highchair, changing bag and cot- for £1.97 delivered. I ordered it on 21 Dec and it arrived, by courier, on 23 Dec. I think there were quite a few of us that got it, either for Christmas or to put away.
So is anyone else unearthing it from the loft 12 months on to give for Christmas? E was only 5m last Christmas but it was such a bargain I got it for a future gift. We've just unpacked it, can't believe how much stuff there is in there. I was expecting it to be really naff and cheap looking but it all seems fine- the label says it's Hauck. There's so much in the box that we're only giving her the doll and pushchair, she can have the rest of the stuff as the year goes on.
I'd actually intended to give it her for her 2nd birthday next July but my first choice of Christmas gift was foiled so I've bought it forward. I was a bit worried she'd not be into it but she carted round the doll of another hitcher's little girl today so I think she's going to love it.
Christmas sorted, for the price of a pint, twelve months ago (if only everyone else were so easy
