  Contact Hi all We must be mad but we are considering going away to a ski resort in France for Christmas with our 7mth old and 3.5 yr old.  I have umpteen questions but am wondering how best to transport the baby when we are there.  I'm thinking pushchair isn't going to work, possibly back pack - but can you go on a chairlift as a pedestrian with a baby in a back pack???  What about baby sledges?  Any recommendations?   spinster chick Joined on 04-Aug-2004 United Kingdom Posts 4,116	Contact We went with some friends who had a 1 year old and they bought a sledge which he sat in and we dragged him round the village.... it was fairly cheap and much much easier than the buggy I would have thought you wouldn't have been able to go on the chairlift but I might be wrong. We found that whoever was babysitting stayed in the village and we met them there for lunch and to swap over
