So Josh wants to wear underpants. Yesterday I humoured him, but he did pretty well and managed 2 wees on the pottty. I decided that we might as well give it a go, and we can always go back to nappies if it's really bad. Today he had 2 acidents where he didn't seem to even realise, then the 3rd one he stopped himself and announced "Oh no, I did a wee".  Then this afternoon he did 3 wees on the toilet. I think that is pretty good going. Of course it will probably go pear shaped tomorrow, lol. He is still so little - he was 2 last week, but although his level of understanding and following instructions seems better than I remember Ben's being, he seems younger somehow.

E is pretty forward too - she has been using the potty for a good couple of months but I havn't pushed it.  The other day at nursery she asked them for a potty and then did a big poo on it - needless to say they were very impressed as she was.

I just let her go without a nappy morning and evening and she sorts herself out and quite often tries to empty the potty in the toilet herself

I know she is ready for the whole pants thing - I just need to bite the bullet and get on with it.
