    names that shorten to Trixie

    are there any?

i have decided today that should we have another daughter I want to call her Trixie. but as that may border on child abuse, i have been pondering what we could name her that we can shorten/adapt.

not Beatrix / Beatrice (already vetoed), and it must 'go' with Camilla. so come on, help me name my imaginary daughter ROTFL

Eek, can only think of Beatrix tbh. I've not heard of Trixie for Felicity before.

can't you call her Trixie, whatever her name is? It doesn't have to nec tie in with a name per se if there isn't one, does it?

Could you go for Trixie as a middle name and just use it?  It would then give her another 'choice' when she's older if thats what you want?

Felicity kind of has similar sounds which is why I suggested it, could just be the way I say it but I am pretty sure I say it proper Laugh

I'm Victoria and some of my family call me Trixie. Think it went... Victoria -> Vic -> Vix -> Trix -> Trixie. Bit of a long and convaluted way of getting there but I've got another friend called Victoria who is also called Trix a lot.

I like Felicity too but I've only heard it shortened to Fliss or Flick, not Trixie. but you could still do that!
