Any positive Clomid stories?

Haven't been on here for ages and it's all changed!!

Anyway, 40 years old, bad endometrios and three miscarriages.  Consultant has now put me on Clomid for three months "in case I'm not ovulating"...  Any thoughts or positive stories would be most helpful as I am very down in the dumps and thinking that after three months if nothing happens I'm going to have to face up to never becoming a mother - will be devastated... x

My clomid success is 14 and doing her homework upstairs!

I have had 3 other pregnancies on clomid but sadly they have ended in m/c - not related to the clomid!

I am 40 next month, so feel your pain.  Don't give in stay positve and determined it has to count for something!

Yup, I took it for one cycle after trying for 18 months (periods were anything from 28-90 days apart) and here is the result:

And me .

Started TTC in Nov 2005.

Found to have endo in March 2007.

Miscarriage July 2007.

Took first cycle of Clomid October 2007  BFP November 2007- the result of which was born on 12th July 2008.

My little Clomid miracle is now 10 weeks old and asleep in her stroller as I type (we're at mum's ).

Good luck - it can happen!

Nikki, you freak me out as we seem to have a lot in common!

Our LO's were born a week apart, had a hard time deciding to put them on formula and now I discover you took Clomid and caught on the 1st cycle too........!!

There are lots of similarities - didn't realise your gorgeous son was a Clomid baby too!

Yup, the magic pill worked for me x

well, I ma about to start my first round of clomid after ttc #2 for over 18 months.

fingers crossed it works its little magic for both of us!

I hardly ever post on here as I have my hands full - but wanted to reply to you to say I think Clomid is a miracle pill

After 2 1/2 years of trying for a baby I took clomid for two months

I fell pregnant on my second month of taking it and as a result I now have two gorgeous 5 month old sons who are both sleeping in there cots as I type.

Hi,

I was prescribed Clomid at the beginning of the year because my cycles were all over the shop (the last one before my first tablet was 130 days), and I got my BFP on the second cycle.  I'm currently 26+2 and have been really lucky and had no problems so far.
