  • I have just learned how to put my car seat in!

Well, on the isofix base bit anyway. It was a bit fiddly, then I figured out how to cheat a bit and it was much easier.

I think I might attempt to learn how to do it "Old School" with the seat belt for good measure - I'm sure we're not only going to travel in our own car...

Eeeek. This is the sort of thing you only do if you're going to have a real baby.

I really need to have a go at fixing ours too to get organised. I really don't want to be like my BIL and SIL who didn't bother trying to fit it until the baby was born, then struggled and then rung me to ask if the car seat could go in the front with an air bag. FFS.

It makes it all scarily real, doesn't it?!?!

We've had ours fixed in my car for about 3 weeks now, just because we literally have no where else to store it! The first week it was in, I kept getting a glance of it & it kept making me jump! I've got used to it now though!

MrCL decided to go for overkill though & use the ' MrCL dual safety approach' & fix it in using both the isofix points AND the old school seat beat method Laugh I'm assuming though that the seat belt isn't needed to put round the car seat [stupid CL icon needed]??? We need to have a play with our car seat, but I'm a bit reluctant to pick up the travel system from the shop at this point (for both space & stupid supersition reasons...)

Anyhoo, it certain does make it all seem very real (particularly as I'm packing my hospital bag AND doing my first lot of baby washing today!)

    Lots of love girlies

Oh baby washing! I started this week too. It was a nice day and I wanted to see it all hung on the washing line - it was so cute I took a picture! LOL! I'm sure one little best blew away though as there was a gap on the line. :(
