There's a website where you can log your bHCGs and see how they compare to the median - betabase, I think.
Ectopics tend to be very high but slow rises or remaining static. For a normal pregnancy, they should ideally double every 48 hours, so you can roughly work out what you should be when you have the repeat result. FWIW the numbers themselves don't mean that much, it's the time it takes to double which is indicative. Mine was only 29 with T, everyone expected it to fail, I spotted brown blood etc but the result shot up once I'd started on steroids and as you know, it all worked out fine! With the twins, my result at 10 days post 5 day transfer (15 days post conception) was 247.
