    very excited:

Hey DS, I live in Colchester!  It seems there are a few of us between Colchester and Ipswich so would be great to meet,  2.5 weeks and I am on mat leave so free to meet up with people!

Definitely up for an East Anglian meet.

An East Anglian meet would be good. We can organise it for when you start matty leave VE. I'll hopefully have had baby by then x

Hannah, Pink Munky, Pebbles and alijones.... Do u all fancy meeting if we can sort out a good date for us all??

I am childless at the moment like some of others so it'll just be me. Unless I have a bun in the oven by then.

That sounds good to me, I am free most days in April apart from Thursday morning/early afternoon as doing baby massage.

What a small world! Big Smile I'd be up for a train ride to Leicester though to meet you ladies, would be fab to meet a fellow Hitcher!

Only know of one other nearish me - maybe it is about time we tried to arrange another meet although most are back at work which makes things tricky.   Last time we tried we just couldn't find a suitable day in the end.

Yeah, I guess it would be difficult with people's work/childcare commitments. I work every day full time so can only do evenings and weekends...although I do have the 11 day Easter break coming up!

I'm another East Anglian hitcher! I live Downham Market/Wisbech way. Also childless and not pregnant so zippy we can be odd together! X

We should have an East Anglian meet, I saw someone else was Kings Lynn, there was a Bury St Edmunds and a few Ipswich hitchers too. Also saw some Colchester ones which isn't a million miles away either

I am near a village called Framlingham. We live in the sticks.

OK - this is getting spooky!  I'm about a 10 mins drive from Framlingham!!!  And yes, an East Anglian meet is a damn good idea.  I'll start a separate thread about it, if I'm not stepping on anyone's toes.

My in-laws live in Chatteris and we are up there a lot. Hoping to move that way in the next few years. Nice to know there are others that way!

  • Re: Challenge to meet a hitcher.

I am sulking, where are the gloucestershire hitchers? Hrrumph I am going to sit in the corner on my own.

  • Re: Challenge to meet a hitcher.

I'm up for it. Thursdays are Isla's music class so any other day is good. Saying that I've just started as an Usborne organiser so I'm getting out and about more during the week now. But if we book a dat in I'll make sure I keep it free.
