Did you "spot" the sex during your scan??

We decided we didn’t want to know the sex of our baby but that didn’t stop me keeping an eye out for any boy bits.  I thought I saw something that resembled testicles but I also think I could have completely imagined it! Ha ha...

Did anyone spot any boy bits when they had their scans?  I wasn’t even sure if the testicles would have descended at 21 weeks.  I think I may well have imagined it!

We don’t mind either way what the sex is but just mulling over this and interested to know.

Anyone got any pictures of what boy bits look like on a scan??

I actually spotted Molly was a girl on my 20 week scan, google it and you will see lots of pictures showing the differences.  Wouldn't take anything as 100% though

When we went for our 3d scan we told them we did not want to know the sex but that didn't stop the sonographer referring to baby as he all the way through. So we were convinced that it's now a boy. We haven't bought anything yet though just incase. 

i'm sure bethanw has posted a pic of her 20wk scan before - from that pic there's no doubt as to what she is having!

I'll see if I can find Louie's scan on this computer.  He had his legs akimbo and there was his willy floating about!

I'm not sure, but we had a scan this week at 31 weeks and I think I may have spotted a girl.  Could be completely wrong though - we'll find out in May!!

I have heard it can be really clear although my friend who had 3 boys didn't spot it on any of her scans!

I had an extra scan at about 26 weeks with #1 due to abdominal pain and the cord was highlighted on the screen, which left us in little doubt as to what the other bit sticking out was We didn't buy anything or ask them to confirm it, but he was and still is most definitely a boy!

a girl has 3 white lines, dont think I've got any pics but looked very different and we saw boy parts right away with this one

With C and jelly bean, it was very clear they were both boys, even before we were asked if we wanted to know.

C had his legs wide open, and it looked like a little rocket. With jelly bean, there were deffinite extra bits, but when she went back to check, just to be sure, he had his legs closed. But we'd got a good glimpse before he turned all prudish.

We don't know what we're having but since the 20 week scan we've been referring to baby as a boy. Have a close look at the left hand side below the leg.

I had a very detailed scan at 16 weeks before my amnio. It was blindingly obvious that this one is a boy!

We were going to find out anyway, but even before the sonographer had got round to telling us we could see that she was a girl as she had her legs open and there were no extra bits!

Good lord, no. I couldn't even tell the difference between liver and head!
