  • would you buy this new baby card?

I've been making them all night and need some opinions. Are they any good and what would be a reasonable price?

edited to add (as I think some people are missing the comment under card 1)

**The cards are not centered as I'm having printing problems but they will be**Smile It is massively bugging me to!

    Thanks for looking xx

will put some pink glitter on some of the spots and centre it properly and wipe off the excess silver I just noticed!

    Yes I would - they're lovely - you're very clever.

As to what I'd pay - not sure - cards are usually around £3 ish so about that?

They are lovely. Personalised I'd be willing to pay £4/£5, unpersonalised abit less. What were you hoping for?

    T - feb 08.

    C - feb 10.

  • Re: would you buy this new baby card?

I think they're lovely... although I think I would make the date the same font as the remaining text?

Would you be including a personalised insert too, or would it be blank?  if it was personalised, I'd probably pay no more than £5, but if it was blank, no more than £3

    They are really lovely.

My best card for Georges birth was a personalised one from Moonpig but it was only printed and I think they are around £3 so slightly more than that?

    Oh fab feedback already!

Didn't think of inserts but yes could do those, personalised in what way?

Oh can't read what everyone else put now. Erm date in same font, it did have 3 different fonts but then I changed one and forgot to change back and yes I agree with the swirliness but like it sometimes. Glad you like them, but if anyone doesn't I don;t mind that either. I was hoping in the regoin of £3-5 so that's good too, thanks all xx

1st baby what do you mean by 'only printed?' I'd have loved a personalised one. My favourite was a 2010 glittery one and a glittery 10 little toes one, I have a glitter fetish!x

Erm it was just bog standard font and wasn't a particularly pretty or interesting card if that makes sense.

Maybe you can start to sell to Hitchers first - I will be an auntie in April and this is the sort of special card I would love to give x

  • Re: would you buy this new baby card?

By personalised insert, I mean that you type on an insert

    Dear <baby name>

message that the giver wants to say to the recipient

    Lots of love

    from recipient

I know that probably doesn't make much sense, but it's what I'm used to.  I regularly use an ebay card maker who is absolutely outstanding!  Her shop is here:

Ah I see, I was worried you thought I'd drawn them!

Yipee for glitter and I'd love to sell to Hitchers (am I allowed to?) xx

They are lovely, very professional looking. My one tiny (anal!) comment would be that the text isn't centred on the cards - the top text on the girl one and name at the bottom on the boy one are both slightly to the left. Not a big deal, but something that would bug my layout-pedant eye Laugh

I think about £3ish would be the right price - there are some similar ones here for comparison

  • Re: would you buy this new baby card?

Also could you emaill a template to the person buying the card for their approval first? Just a thought? x
