    Thanks Pittabre Hug

Well no more fluid loss so far and just a scuff of brown blood on my knickers and when I wipe so hoping this turns out to be a great, big fuss over nothing. I am taking the rest of the day off work and will ring hospital back if there's any more or I get any pain. Skipper is moving so although I got a fright initially, baby is keeping me reassured it's ok in there.

Thanks for all your hugs and reassurance this morning. My head says this stuff happens and it often goes unexplained but it's different when it's happening to you, especially for first time, so thanks again Love

I had bleeding at 27/28 weeks, about an egg cup full. I was told to go in for monitoring despite no pain and baby moving ok. I was kept in but all was ok. I'd want to be checked out if I were you Hug

It was nowhere near an egg cup full HB, around 4 Cadbury's fingers worth (sorry, I know that's a ridiculous comparison to use but all I can think of) in my knickers and a patch of water the size of an orange. That's what I woke up to and just a tiny bit more blood since. I think if Skipper hadn't been moving so much i'd be worried but I'm ok Hug

Hope all is okay SB. I lost some water with E at 33 weeks and my hindwaters had gone.

I don't want to scare you, but I would get checked out if possible. My first thoughts were that maybe you'd had a show and your hindwaters had gone. If this is the case the hospital can give medication to stop labour starting.

I'm sorry if I'm completely wrong and/or worrying you over nothing, but I always think it is best to check these things out. If I hadn't have gone in when I did with E I would have had him a lot earlier than I did.

Big hugs for you SB. Like others have said it's good that Skipper is kicking you lots but if that was me, I'd still want to get checked out and see if they can find out what caused it.

If you're still not content with 'seeing how things go' as the MW suggested, could you go down to the hospital and insist you have a reassurance scan?

As most people have said I would still want to get checked over just to be on the safe side.

Ah hun only just seen this. Hug

I bet it was a big scare this morning.  I am glad everything has calmed down now and baby is moving around plenty.  I would still pop along to the assessment unit at your local hospital just some someone can actually see you and check baby etc.

I hope you have had lots of rest today.
