  • My cups floweth over...

So at 17+2, a fair few of my bras are consigned to the bin and the ones I can use I use with bra extenders in the back which so far has been fine as it was the round measurement which was getting bigger.  Now my Love Love seem to have gotten huge and there is a lot of boobage at the top no longer contained!!!

I need to get remeasured and get some new bras but wondered if everyone went with non underwired or if you can continue to use wired ones as I have never worn a non wired bra.

Also any recs for nice maternity bras?  I usually get mine from Debenhams as the lady who measures in there is fab.

    Thanks

I just got cheapy non wired bras from Primark or Asdas in the right size. I felt more comfortable in non wired but I can't wait to get some nice normal underwired bras now my pregnancy days are over!

I got mine from bras4mums first time round (she was local) and the service was brilliant.  Second time round I went to Bravissimo as my boobs were/are MASSIVE!  It's definitely worth getting properly fitted, so much more comfortable x

btw i went for non-wired on the advice of bra fitters but apparently well-fitting wired bras are fine too x

I got maternity bras from Mothercare and also from a specialist maternity shop local to me.  They made such a difference IMO for comfort!

Thanks all.  I dread to think how big they are going to get as I am not even halfway!!!

Poor H is terrified of them already!!

TBH mine haven't grown that much, although they were quite ample to start with.

I have started to wear non wired though since being pregnant.  I've just found them more comfortable.

I wore underwired bras all through my pregnancy, getting fitted regularly. There is no way i could do without the wired support.

I also bought a could of Carriwell Sleep / non wired bras for wearing in the evening  and to bed.

I was the same as 1stbaby - bought cheapy non wired from a few places like Primark, and then spent money on the feeding bra's that I lived in for the following year.

I changed sizes to much, quickly through my pg that there was no point in buying expensive ones.

This isn't flying, its falling - with style

You're only just getting bigger size bras?  I've been 2 sizes bigger since 7 or 8 weeks!!

I got a couple of bigger wired ones, then my mw friend told me about the non-wire thing and she's normally very good at telling what advice to ignore but she said this one is an important one so I invested in a couple of maternity/nursing bras from M&S.  I'm going to have to get a couple more soon as I can't get them through the wash quick enough.  I find them supportive and padded enough at 34D.

I didn't want to buy loads as I'm not sure if I'll get bigger (or smaller!).

I wore underwired bras throughout my pregnancy. I didn't have any problems. I was concerned about not having the support from the wiring. But I then wore non wired nursing bras after pregnancy and they were OK.

As long as its fitted properly you shouldn't have problems with the wiring.

Mine didn't actually change shape much during the pregnancy. They grew huge at the start and stayed there until right at the end.

I maybe should have bought them a few weeks ago but with the bra extenders at the back, it is only recently that I have pulled my head out of the sand and realised the cups just aren't cutting it anymore, well they are in fact they are cutting my boobs in two Laugh  because I have a really spotty back and chest which looks gorgeous I haven't wanted to get nekkind in front of someone either so another reason I now have huge melons in little bras.

I will go today after the dentist, what a fun afternoon!!!
