Absolutely WEES. To me, it's a given that what is discussed in this forum remains in this forum. To a lot of people, me included, it's a sanctuary where we can come and offload, give and ask advice. For someone to abuse that is just beyond words.

Ugh how horrible and what a violation! I know it's a public forum but i think it feels private when you are here  -and for someone to abuse that by being so underhand is just nasty. 

Petal well done for outing her. I hope she's reading this and feels ashamed and embarassed by her bevahiour. I doubt it though. She's probably getting a thrill about how it's allabout her now. After all, isn't that what she's always wanted?

Ps I know it is not the same but when I joined BT I read a post about a London meet and really wanted to go - At the time I was newly pregnant and had complications so wasn't able to make it...

Imagine my surprise and shock when someone posted a pic of squirel at the meet - I was shcoked as I then knew all about my friend's ttc etc and in fact just before she had discovered she was pregnant.

I immediately texted her to say I had seen her photos I knew who she was on the forum and told her who I was on the forum - we had both used it for wedding planning but at different times.

And we remained on here and what goes on here stays on here

FTM - that's what is sticking in my throat.  If she had accidentally stumbled across this place as she had lead us all to believe then it wouldn't be such a problem.  She could have told me she knew I was here.  Instead, she has humiliated me by using this place for her own satisfaction and chosen to walk out the door pretending she doesn't know me.  Her reason for leaving is not because she wants to spend less time on the internet.  It is because she knows I have found out.  Yet she can't even be honest about that.  Writing her first post using the words "I like the idea of being anonymous" and then asking everyone how she searches for someone's story (my story) is hypocritical at best.  Plus if you are reading this Miss Purple I also saw the post you typed asking this forum, the one I have been using for over 8 years, advice about your friend (me) who is moaning/groaning 'behind your back' but then promptly deleted.  This space is where I put my inner most thoughts to an 'anonymous' audience and is 'not behind your back'.  None of these people here know who you are or who I was talking about.  Your dignity was still preserved.  Shame you didn't reciprocate and preserve mine.  Besides I have re-read my post which you were referring to and I have no idea what you are talking about.  All of this from someone who didn't want to pry.  I am grieving for ANOTHER dead baby and this has added to my stress.  Like I want to spend time on this crap. 

Petal, that's sick (her not you that is!). I'm so sorry you've had to go through this with a so-called friend. Sounds like she's got her come-uppance now though!

Oh Petal - this sucks. Does she really have such little in her life  that she disrespects peoples wishes and uses a forum to satisfy her desire for "being in the know"?

I did  think that post about how do you search for peoples posts was very odd at the time.

and I hope you H tells her what for!
