Anyone's notifications gone crazy?

By lunchtime, I had 106 emails on my phone from posts that I replied to about 2 weeks ago, and have had about another 200 this afternoon. It's driving me mad, I thought I was really popular on the texts today and was a bit disappointed when they were all from hitched!

Yep!! not had any for a few weeks then got home to 407 messages in my in box!!

Seems to happen every couple of months to me

glad i am not the only one, its really annoyed me to the point where i want to get rid of my hitched account. sort it out hitched!

I don't get notifications but I did just get a few emails through that had been sent through here - none of them are recent so they must have been building up for a bit!

If you use hotmail you can block any emails from hitched forums!

I had 300 or so today, good times.

Mine suddenly stopped about 3 months ago and I haven't had any since, I can just imagine one day I'm going to come home and have 1000s of emails which will crash my computer!

Yep I've had about 400 in my yahoo account even though I have email notifications turned off...grrrrr

I've just had a load of messages come through all at once.

I'd been wondering how you could stop them generally. 

Is there anyway on here to stop them - I try disabling notifications for each thread as I post i them, but they turn themselves back on - I'll go back to the thread and it will say enabled again!

I can't find an options/setting menu to make a general change to turn them off!

In the end I set up a 'Hitched' folder in my email inbox, so all hitched mail filters into it automatically. I still have to go and delete occasionally, but at least it doesn't clogg up my inbox. I did notice that I received about 400 hitched emails yesterday!

I think you have to do it in your profile?  I've never signed up to receive any so not sure how to stop them but I think there's an "off" button in the profile section somewhere.

I find if I quick reply, then you don't get the notifications.

When you reply, go to the next tab along (options?) and untick the box that says receive emails for replies or something else. Any time you edit that post you need to untick the box again.

I do this and don't receive any emails.
