PSA - Argos 3 for 2 on toys and toy rec

Just in case anyone hadn't seen already Argos are doing 3 for 2 on all toys until the 28th, ideal for getting that xmas shopping out the way!

Also, it was Lilys 2nd birthday yesterday and she got the new play doh dog set and has spent the whole morning playing with it, am very impressed with how cool it is!  Thought I'd recommend for anyone looking for ideas.

What does it include? What does she love about it? B is really into 'cooking' and playdoh fits into that caetgory for him I think!

That looks great, i used to love pay doh when i was a child.

The dog itself has various shapes in it, the tummy has a bit for making puppies, you can give him hair and a tongue, the other shapes are things like bones, toys etc, then there a thingy you put the play doh in and turn to make food, a bowl with bacon an sausage moulds.  I'll be honest she was enjoying me making everything which I really enjoyed lol, will let Abigail (3.5y) have a play later cos I'm sure she'll get the making bit more being older.

This might be a silly question but I have no idea about it: What are the benefits of buying playdough over making it at home (takes me 5 mins to make and I add a little paint to get nice colours)?

Ill second this recommendation, its fab! I want one for B, SD is kindly buying him one for his birthday in January!

Corinne, Im not sure there would be any benefits but I think the recommendation is more for the dog than the playdoh that comes with it. Also, if people are asking for present ideas for him, I wont suggest to them they make playdoh for B to play with, but I can direct them to Argos

Probably none, we have the play doh which came with the dog but once it's all been mixed together, dried out etc then I'll just make them some more, have you tried adding glitter to yours, makes a nice change.
