Hi all,
I hope I'm keeping within the forum rules here, please let me know if anyone objects to this post and I will remove it....
I've noticed a few questions popping up about palladium, so I thought I'd give you a bit of information about it. This is taken from our website:
"This rare transition metal is a close relative of platinum and is
naturally white in colour.
It does not need to be Rhodium plated and
there are no difficulties with sizing or diamond setting, making it an
increasingly popular choice.
Like Platinum, Palladium is
hypoallergenic and is ideal for setting diamonds or being engraved.
As
with Platinum our palladium is hall-marked by the UK Official Assay
Offices and is 95% pure."
Long story short, palladium has all the benefits of platinum, without the price tag, in fact most of our palladium rings are cheaper than our 18ct white gold rings, and some are almost a third of the price of our platinum ones.
If you've spoken to me about rings in the past, you'll know I always bang on about how great palladium is. It's lighter, so some find it more comfortable, and more durable and hard-wearing.
It will never lose it's beautiful colour, and in my opinion, if you are looking for a 'white' ring, you really should check palladium out, I love it!
