  • Massive facebook cull

Recent events on DW have made me slightly wary that I was accepting a lot of friend requests often without realising who people were (it didn't say in their request) just because we had mutual friends. Added to that I have several old school friends on there I know nothing about (2 girls I hate and have no idea why they friended me). So I tonight decided to cull everyone I didn't recognise or haven't spoken to, but I got rather trigger happy. So I'm really sorry if you've gone and I didn't really mean to delete you because I just hadn't realised who you were IYSWIM.

Feel free to add me again if I have deleted you, just remind me who you are Big Smile

I think I'm going to be doing the same thing as well DDL. I'm doing my best to match people up by names and purple pages, but if you are deleted by accident just send me a kick up the arse (preferably with your username!) Laugh

Waahh, I've been culled!  No worries, I'll just add you again (the east midlands hitchers I met yesterday can vouch I'm real Smile)

I don't blame you, I think I will do the same as some of the names I have no idea who they are anymore.

    Glad I survived your cull!!

I did the same last night- I think accepting HJ just because we had friends in common, then the events of last night made me realise that I need to be more careful.

I was thinking of doing the same Sad It just makes me really sad because I know in the process I'll cull someone I really don't want to.

I've had a few requests recently that I know must be from here due to the mutual friends, but if I can't work out who they are they get ignored I'm afraid.

Same here.  I do have some that I can't remember their username but I know I know them, I just can't remember Laugh

It doesn't take much to add a personal message to the Friend request on FB you know..... Which makes things sooooo much easier rather than playing guess the Hitcher/DWer/HPADer....

One of the most prolific posters on DWOT was uncovered as being the nasty, manipulative Belt of Bru / Igettwistedonwine who caused a lot of problems back in the older days on OT here.
