  • Batch Cooking Cake - A question

Forget batch cooking spag bol and lasagne, for me it's all about cake Laugh

So my question is, if I make a cake, let it cool, slice it, eat some, then wrap the other portions securely in cling flim, do I just then stick the portions in the freezer???

    TIA! Xx

Yes, just stick in the freezer.  I don't wrap the individual portions in cling film, just put them in a tupperware tub.

Apologies for lack of capital letters - Zoe has stolen my shift key Huh?

Yep, I did exactly that and it worked a treat!

Thanks both Smile Freezer is ram packed so want to avoid more tuppawares if possible! Will go for the tightly wrapped in cling flim option.

    Thanks xx

Ooooh yes. I've got a yummy fruit cake receipe made with porter or guinness if you like that kind of thing. Logging off shortly but let me know and I'll post it when I've found the bit of paper!

Thanks Monk, I'm not a fan of fruit cake if I'm honest though. But thank you for the offer lovely Thanks xx
