    Hot air balloon ride.

We had a day in London and a theatre trip. Lunch out I think and sanwiches on the coach home! It was fairly inexpensive but we enjoyed it.

I can't remember what we did, but I bought him things from his birth year - the Eurovision entry, chocolate that came out that year, the top toy (lego) etc etc...

Inspired by Sofie, Milo and all my angels, most recently Joe http://www.justgiving.com/JoeDonn/

    Ideas and donations welcome x

I booked a weekend away for just the two of us, went to Krakow (somewhere he has always wanted to go), stopped in a gorgeous 5 * hotel and loved been 'us' all weekend.

Present wise he had a new iPod 160gb, new canon lense (ok maybe this was a bit for both of us) and loads of other little things.

I surprised H on the morning of his 30th, he got up to go to work when I announced that I'd already booked it off for him and whisked him away down to a b+b in Cornwall for 2 nights, fortunately a family friend runs a lovely place down there and offered to sit for us on the sat night so we went to a very lovely restaurant for a nice meal. Total weekend probably cost £250 all in so not bad. He enjoyed it, so did I!

A very civilised drinks/meal/drinks with group of friends (well almost civilised) Laugh also a very, very civilised meal with his family.

His 40th next year, hoping for a luxury night away in a hotel close by (if we can find someone brave enough to babysit overnight (insert be up with Fin) ROTFL

I promised my H a weekend in Champange. We didn't get there as I was only 2 weeks old so we are going next summer.

My H is 30 next year and I am the year after so we are going to New York the Xmas in between.  Obviously out of your budget.

For our first anniversary I surprised him with a stay in the Hilton in Edinburgh with  a spa day, massages, facials etc then we had a lovely meal.

Ooooh thank you girls. I knew you lot would come up with some good ideas.

I'm loving the idea of a hot air balloon ride, I think he'd love that, thanks Jess.

Madonna I might have to find some things from the year of his birth now.

I've found a few map based presents I think he'll like and today I made some inroads to organising his party. Not bad for a days work Big Smile

My h had meals with friends & family etc, his present was his cbt training - it is my 30th next month & I think a puppy may be for me :D

My H is a SE too!  We were going to do Glastonbury but I was pregnant so I booked him a weekend of steam engine driving instead (he loves engines)  I think Glasto would have been safer than 9 hours on a hot smoky thingBig Smile
