Glad to hear it Andrea. It's a shame she is allowed to make money from something you made :-(

From what I was told by Trading Standards, if you can prove the original photo was taken by yourself by producing the original photo as evidence i.e, it has to be a proper photo not just stored on your computer, then you own the copyright and no-one can use this without your permission.  If she has taken a photo herself of the well when it arrived and is hiring it out as such, then I think that's probably a different thing altogether and not illegal as such.  It has to be Andrea's photo that she is using on her site.  Another thing they told me was to photocopy my entire site, date it, seal it in an envelope and post it to myself by Recorded Delivery and not to open it which also apparently helps towards proving copyright.  That said, the internet is a very grey area when it comes to copyright - nevertheless it doesn't excuse image theft!  Trading Standards were brilliant with me I have to say and a call from them had an immediate effect!

    not really no! lol

Joking aside its not a good situation really :(

my 17 yr old son went to london on friday and said not coming home til monday which was strange, then he calls me on saturday and says he nee to talk to me. Then he says that he went to london for a reason this weekend and that gf was pregnant and thats why he went, to go to a clinic to sort it out (which must have killed him because he doesnt really agree with it) ......only when they got there they scanned her and said sorry cant do it because she is 25 weeks!

She is only 16 and had no idea as she has been having her monthlys until 2 weeks ago, then when she was a week late her mum said ok we will just do a test to see and of course came back yes, so then they had all that to deal with and now we find out this.

Apart from her age of course everyone is worried sick as she has been on diferent meds for things and has even had a radioactive dye treatment for an illness, so on top of everything else we now have the worry that the little one will be fine.

My son is in bits with worry and we relocated didnt we so we are now all 200 miles away from her. Such a mess.

After the initial shock wore off we have spoken to her parents many times on the phone in the past 48hrs and have agreed to just do what we can to support them and be there for them in any way we can. Just feeling a bit useless tbh x

So yes, this was kind of the icing on the cake this week for me!

Whilst it's a terrible situation your son sounds like one to be very proud of Kiss. Not all 17 year olds would have anything to do with the situation and travel that distance to be there with his girlfriend so well done him. x

Thanks Lynsey x Thats just the thing, they have been together a year and I have very open relationships with all my kids. They know that there is nothing they couldnt talk to me about.

So i think i was more annoyed that he didnt talk to me about any of it and was just dealing with it on his own. Then he was crying on the phone saying that he really wanted to tell me but he was worried because we are opening the shop and he didnt want to stress me, and then he said he was going to talk to me  a few days later but i came home and said i had a stomach ulcer so he didnt tell me again.

Just feel rotten because hes in london dealing with it all Sad Everytime he rings i get tearful which doesnt help, and he keeps saying what a let down he has been to us lately ( hes been a bit "the world owes me everything" lately and gave up a training course which made us a bit mad ) but deep down hes a good lad.

Ive tried to reassure him and told him how when i was 7 months pregnant with his sister i got pneumonia and had numerous exrays and drugs etc and she is just fine. Not sure it helped but better than saying nothing or getting upset.

Im sure they will be fine with lots of love and support. Not an ideal situation but whats done is done i suppose.

crikey, been a bit of a week for you!! Tongue Tied

lynsey is right, your lad has been more of a man that most his age who would have turned their backs....

and when the time comes, you just know you are going to be so excited!!!

keep reassuring him, im sure the baby will be fine, i didnt find out i was having my wee boy until i was almost 7 months pregnant (like something straight out of take a break, i know), but everything was working perfectly normal, and regularly.... apart from my back which was in constant pain. i kept getting told this was due to me having an epidural with my first, then because i kept getting urine infections they said it was my kidneys. i had no symptoms, no bump, nothing. i had been in an X ray room 4 times, on a flight to and from america and skiing up and down mountains (and mainly falling over)... i ate everything that you arent supposed to and drank alcohol! and he was born a healthy 7.5lbs (he was all in my back), all that was wrong was his wee feet which were turned in but within a few days of physio were perfectly normal!

think you've earned youself a massive bubble bath, family sized dairy milk and maybe a wee cheeky glass of vino...... xxx

What a lot for him to shoulder for such a young age, but you must be so proud for him dealing with it in a mature and adult way.

Like the poster above, I found out I was pregnant at 35 weeks!!! no bump, don't have monthlys due to pcos, no symptoms at all and we were not expecting it because we were told a while back that we would never be able o have any more kids.

I ate all that I wasn't supposed too, drank, smoked, fell out of the bath directly into my stomach, and lots more besides.

I think you must be a fab mum to have such an honest and open relationship with your kids and the only thing you can do is support him as much as possible.

Try not to feel to bad about him being in London dealing with it all as it may well be good for him in regards to 'the world owes me everything'

Above all else, as you say whats done is done and it can't be changed, Try to see things positively, for instance you are still young enough to play and help with the child if necessary. He will learn so much from you over the coming months and it you will probably see him grow from a boy to a man (as hard as that can be sometimes!!)

I hope everything goes well for you.

If you fancy a chat at any point off the boards with someone who has been there (daughter was pregnant at 15) please feel free to emaail me

Unfortunately - If shes bought the postbox fairly and has taken her own picture then you cant make her take the picture down, you may have grounds under trade descriptions  or passing someone elses work off as her own.

Someone locally has taken one of my pictures for their wedding vendor related blog and I'm having a struggle getting them to even credit me.
