You are one of the strongest people I know..... and i don't even know you! I think like many on here I don't think there is a day go by when I don't think of you and hope all is going well.

oh Madonna I can't really begin to know how you are feeling,  it sounds so totally overwhelming.  You must want to go to sleep and wake up when they have delivered your baby safely!

Lots of love and hugs  xxx

I don't know what to say apart from wishing I could give you a massive hug and take some of this awfulness away from you.

I can't even begin to imagine what you are going through on a daily basis. A normal pregnancy is scary enough! You have so much strength and I really admire you. Would love to give you a big hug and tell you that it will all be ok. All I can offer you are lots and lots of positive vibes. I am glad sausage is ok. It must be hard to put on a brave face and to find the strength and energy to look after your little girl and all of us every day. Take it one day at a time, you are almost there. I am hoping things will be ok and you will hold your beautiful little boy in your arms soon.

Sending you lots of love. Hug

Madonna - what others have said, I've never 'spoken' to you but I've certainly tracked your progress and am willing you and baby sausage on every step of the way.

Just wanted to add that I think you're a nice writer and, as a trained journalist of 10 years, I think there's a book in you. You have an engaging way of expressing your journey and your words would certainly strike a chord to others in similar situations Hug There's other, less consuming, options like syndicated newspaper columns etc. If exploring the idea of trying to publish something about your journey appeals then please feel free to PM me and I'd be happy to chat to you about how you might go about it.

In the meantime, if it helps you, keep writing. I, for one, got something out of reading x

I've sat here for 10 minutes looking at the screen trying to think of a reply, something that will help, but nothing will....

I just want you to know that so many of us have that heartbeat and along with mine is 'please let Marie have her baby, please let Pip have her baby, please let Macca have her baby.....safely, happily and so on and so on. I'm last on the list because my main fear is the 30 week stage and you'll all have your babies by then!

Sausage must have so many Hitched vibes willing him on, he must be feeling them and they, and you, will keep him safe and strong.

    Keep sharing xx x

Madonna, I read this last night and I just couldn't think of a reply.

I have followed your stories, since I joined Hitched back in March 2006 and I can't even begin to think what the past 5 years has been like for you and your H.

    What I do know:

~ you are truly an amazing lady and to go through everything that life has thrown at you these past few years, you are just an inspiration and so so strong!

~ I have been amazed by your bravery each time life has thrown a hurdle in your way, especially after you lost Joe last year.

~ even after everything you've been through you are still here for us all and offering advice, etc.. whenever it's needed.

I'd just like to give a very big and gentle hug and say thank you so much for everything.

I'm sure that in 6 weeks time, you will be looking at your gorgeous boy in SCBU and you're family will be complete.

If anyone up there is listening, please help Sausage arrive safe and sound into the world.

I remember how fretful I was whilst pregnant with D after one miscarriage so I have NO IDEA what you are going through.  I do know that Sofie and Sausage and all of your angels have one warrior of a mother x

Madonna, you are so very strong and dignified - I understand only the tiniest amount of what you are going through, but if I had a magic wand, it would be you for whom I would wave it xxx
