I have followed your story over the past few years and although I haven't commented on any of the posts, it breaks my heart to think of what you and your amazing family have had to endure to get something that most of us take for granted.

You have every right to feel the way you do and there's nothing any of us can say to make you feel any better but believe me when I say that you are an absolutely amazingly strong woman and you will get through this.

Its great news that sausage is growing well and the doctors are monitoring you so closely and are doing everything they can to make sure you have a healthy baby at the end of this.

Again, I can't begin to understand how you are feeling but you have so much support here and everyone is willing you on and virtually holding your hand.  Have a very inadequate hug.

Like everyone else on here, am am slightly at a loss for what to say M.  You have given me so much help, both on here and IRL, I wish I could offer you more than a hug.

It's so cruel that no-one else can carry this burden for you, can take a little of the load for you, can take away your thoughts so you can have a bit of time off - I would willingly do it if I could.  But minute by minute, you are getting there, and so is Sausage.  And you can get there in the knowledge that every one of us is crossing everything and holding your hand.

Finally, you have my number, please please feel free to use it any time.  Even if you need to talk in the middle of the night.  I may not be able to do anything practical, but I have very big shoulders you can use Hug

Madonna, you always post with such eloquence and dignity Kiss

I'm so pleased Sausage is well, I hope and wish with all my might he continues to grow strong, and that you too are able to remain strong. I cannot begin to imagine how you must be feeling, but I do want you to know (and of course you do know) that we are all here for you

Much love and hugs from an internet weidie

HugYou are carrying a tremendous burden of stress, & I don't think I could have shown the resiliance or the tenacity you have done. I faced my own pregnancy fears & can totally relate to your feelings that your own body isn't trustworthy, and have counted down the days in every subsequent pregnancy until viability and then to each improvement in survival date, ticking off what will be developed, what support the baby would need if it came now, analysing every twinge.

I really hope the hospital are giving you adequate emotional support, have you been as totally honest with them as you have with us? They really do need to know especially as you are going to have to face the stress of SCBU.

I wish I could magic away the next 13 weeks and you'd be at home with your precious boy, instead I'm hoping & praying you get through the next 6 weeks to a good prem gestation, that he sails through the SCBU and you are all at home re-united by his due date.

    Kiss

There isn't anything that I can say and I wish I could fast forward time for you, but I can't do that either.

I don't think any of us can even begin to understand the enormous pressure you are under.

You have been amazingly strong and it's understandable that this is becoming unbearable for you now. There is a huge milestone approaching and we'll be here to hold your hand while you approach it and then overtake it. We're all rooting for you and Sausage. Never has a baby been wanted so much by so many people.

Re the insomnia... I am usually up sometime between 4 and 5am... so send me a text and while I'm feeding those naughty twins of mine, I'll text you back and keep you company!

I can't find the right words other than to pray that sausage and you keep strong and healthy.

You have an amazing way with words and can convey things so powerfully, I am so often touched by many of the things you write.

Have a huge Kiss and keep safe.

Oh gawd.  You've got me blubbing well and truly.

Madonna - you are an amazing person.  I honestly don't know how you have got through what you have with the dignity you have, and such generosity of support to others.
