We pay £44.50 per day including snack, lunch, tea, wipes but not nappies.

BoB - I have a friend in Caversham and hers is over £50 per day - heading towards £60 I believe, so it sounds like Berks is at the higher end of cost!

    Madonna:

Goodness me, if you love it, sign her up! You don't have to see a minimum number you know!

In answer to your question, ours is just under 47 per day, inc food and nappies etc. We're in E London/Essex.

Our is £47 a day...they're robbing a few pennies off me Surprise (Same nursery)

    Go for it!

We're in Berks and pay £52 which is everything included except formula. Others we looked at were £62 though! This was the first we looked at and loved it, very rural area, lots of outside space etc. We were on the waiting list so had to look at others but luckily a space came up just in time!

We are just going to ask a couple of questions but looks as if we will be putting LOs name down for there and see if she can squeeze us in. Fingers crossed

  • Re: Nursery fees- how much?

Ours is £3 an hour for over 2s and £3.30 an hour for under twos.  Snacks are included, but we provide meals, nappies and wipes.

  • Re: Nursery fees- how much?

Ours is currently just over £700 per month for 3 days a week - so works out to about £60 a day I think. That is for everything, including a music group that comes in once a week.

I looked at one nursery before this one and quite liked it but when I saw this one I absolutely loved it and didn't bother going to see any more. I think if you're really happy with it there's no need to keep on looking - it's not like there's only one perfect nursery that you have to keep hunting for IFSWIM

We are in the south Midlands and are extremely lucky to be paying "only" £32 per day for our fantastic nursery. We go full time. This includes all food and early drop off and late pick up (7am to 6pm).

I agree to go with your gut instinct. You could check out their Ofsted report for more information and ask any parents if they have heard anything about the nursery good or bad.

J's is £32 a day & includes all food, but not nappies.

It's subsidised by my work though & it's the only we looked round because it was the most convenient/affordable where we are & I didn't want to fall in love with one we couldn't afford IYSWIM.

We pay £700 for 3.5 days, all food is included but we supply nappies and wipes.  They also have a music group in every other week.  We're in Herts.  Go with your gut instinct, we looked at 2 others but as soon as I left our nursery I knew it was the one for us.  I nearly put our DD's name down before I left but thought my H ought to look round too!

If you like it sign her up but have a look at a couple more in case there's no space.

I only looked at two myself.

I think for a baby we were paying £40 a day for 3 days a week, including formula and food but not nappies.
