I'm not really sure what a 'clear round double sided sticky thing' might be.

ROTFL she meant repositionable glue dots. WH smiths or similar should have some. The velcro type tend to be so strong that they rip off the card. Hope that helps.

Thanks Andrea, do these just open the once? I love stationary but obviously haven't heard or seen these, cheers

  • Re: Please could you flash your invites!

No, as they are repositionable they can be re sealed and opened a few times before they lose the stickiness.

    Hiya

Have been trying to make my own pocketfold type invites, is the general concensus that repositional glue dots are better than velcro dots?

I'd also heard that velcro dots can make the whole thing quite thick and therefore not covered by standard postage - with guests having to fork out extra to collect them from the sorting office.

Suzanne from Prettywild, www.prettywild.co.uk, designed me something unique to incorporate our calla lilly and thistle theme. Suzanne is also a HIB.

I only really wanted a printed style of invitation and these were perfect especially since the design was bespoke.

I'd take a look at www.prettywild.co.uk - Suzanne will design and make something amazing!

I made my own pocketfolds. You can't see on the pics but the cream part is actually wallpaper and has a shiny design on it!

    Hi

I found this wonderful lady who is going to handwritten all my invitations in Caligraphy Script she'll even personalise them to the colour you want, the writting, the names of the people and everything so you could if you wanted have every invitation different. All i had to provide were the blank invitations which i picked up for £4 ivory invites with envelopes. The writing will make it much more personal than just been printed .
