  • Quinny Zapp help needed

My bargain Quinny Zapp has arrived and I'm quite pleased with it, I love the colour and the rest of it will scrub up fine with a bit of effort.

There aren't any instructions with it but I've figured out how to fold and unfold it but I have a question about unfolding.  At the moment the only way I can do the final bit, pulling button 3 out, is to do it with my hand.  Surely that can't be right.  It'll be minging if we've been out in the rain.  Am I being really dim ?  How do you unfold your Zapp ?

Erm, shake it out and use my foot to finish, I think? Is there a Youtube on it? I found one earlier for my streety...

I'll see if I can find a YouTube thingy, thanks.

The reason we initially ruled out the Zapp (when looking at new rather than paying £30) was that the woman in the shop said you had to pull it out with your hand which seemed a bit awkward.

I push down the 1 and 2 buttons and pull.  Make sure the handlebar is locked then pull 3. with your foot.  I find sometimes ours is a bit stiff and needs a bit of help with my hand but a bit of WD40 should sort that out.

Thanks Noggin.  I guess it's probably a bit stiff then at the moment, will try again tomorrow.

Oh, just as an aside, my pram repair man said it's better to use furniture polish than WD40 because WD40 is oil based to attracts dust - that was after I told him I'd sprayed WD40 on one.
